Yet again, there is another small but fun collection coming out by MAC. Lipglass and lip pencils are the main focus here. It is not like any others I have seen. I say that due to the colors within the collection. Usually, the winter selections are dark or neutral but not these. Holiday Special Treat #4

Holiday Breakfast Bake

Everyone has a favorite dish during the holidays. I do indeed love the classic stuffing dish my mother always makes. Stuffing is something that I crave for during the holidays. It can be eaten morning lunch and dinner(my preference). This year I think I'm going to change it up a bit with this breakfast bake which includes all the right things to start your day off right.

This wonderful morning meal can serve up to 8 people in 50 minutes!

INGREDIENTS

1       package (12 oz) bulk your choice of sausage (italian pork or beef)

1/3
cup chopped onion
1/3
cup chopped green bell pepper
1/3
cup chopped red bell pepper
10
eggs
1
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1
can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers refrigerated original biscuits
DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, brown sausage, onion and bell peppers; drain well.
In large bowl, beat eggs. Stir in cheese and sausage mixture. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press biscuits into bottom of baking dish. Pour sausage mixture over biscuit crust.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until egg mixture is set and crust is deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Holiday Special Treat #3

Coquito (Puerto Rican Eggnog)

This is my favorite holiday drink! On the outside, it looks like the traditional holiday eggnog but on the inside it's a dream come true.

COQUITO is the traditional punch served in most latin homes during the Christmas and New Year's holiday. This very creamy tropical and yummy drink has everything you need in an eggnog. The only difference between the two is that the coquito has added spices and light rum.

I remember the first I had taste it (I am not a fan of the original). The flavor, smell and texture just changed my whole attitude on this popular drink. This drink right heerrreee will get the PARTY started .

Once you have it, it may be hard to go back to the original. Personally, I am a HUGE coconut fan so me and COQUITO are always connected during the holidays:-)

INGREDIENTS

6 egg yolks

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 tablespoons vanilla extract

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

5 (12 fluid ounce) cans evaporated milk

1 (10 ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk

1 (14 ounce) can cream of coconut

4 1/4 cups light rum

DIRECTIONS

In the top of a double boiler, combine egg yolks and evaporated milk. Stirring constantly, cook over lightly simmering water until mixture reaches a temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). The mixture should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Transfer mixture to a blender, and add cream of coconut, sweetened condensed milk, rum, water, cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla. Blend for about 30 seconds. Pour into glass bottles, and chill overnight.

This serves 10-12 people in ten minutes.

ENJOY!!!
