Vintage Finds

Look what I found!! I love magazines. Been a subscriber since I was about 13-14 years ago. From fashion to the latest movies I had the magazine (mainly fashion mags I enjoyed the most). Looking through my research finds I stumbled upon this covers. Here are some antique fashion magazine covers. Aren't they beautiful? They are from the 1920s to 1940s. If I could get my hand on them I wonder what they are worth? So vintage and fabulous :-)

MY DeDICATION To THE BIG APPLE

I thought to myself "Hey, I love photos"!! "Wouldn't  it be great to add them to my blog as like a series or something"?? Then, I thought, "But when"? This fall there are sooo many things I want... cause it is my favorite season. Yay!!! Fall is coming..fall is coming! It  just seems like there is a better selection in accessories during  the cooler seasons. I love to shop for little things here and there but mainly focus on investment pieces. Hopefully, I can add these items in my collection and be happy as a lamb :)

I LOVE MOVIES!!!

 There's nothing like a lazy movie day...all day! Ordering in or whipping up some of your favorite snacks. I REALLY enjoy days like this! This summer I had a little time off, so I decided to get in the groove and watch some movies.  Most of my weekends I make it a must to watch at least one movie, although I don't watch a lot of TV :-(! Growing up, my family were always big movie buffs. I guess that is where I get it from.  My younger sister is one of the biggest ones ever..she should become a critic. LOL! These are a few of my favorite movies I saw once,twice or maybe thirty times because again..I LOVE MOVIES!!!  Hope you guys like the selection ;-)!

One of my favorites..of all times! It is a classic and you can always related to at least one of the characters. 

This movie will make you laugh, cry and smile all in one.  Of course, Sam was my fav character :).

For a little action, I chose this one.  A few years back, a friend of mines put me on to this. Since then I have been hooked.  All of the movies in this series are part of my collection because they are sooo good. You don't know where he is going to be and what is going to happen next. Great Movie overall!!

Jennifer Lopez is such a wonderful fashionista soo of course I love her. The movie above displays a comedy with such a great love story. She plays a woman who is like most independent women out in the world who believes they have little time for love.

Last but not least TWILIGHT!!!! Should I say more ???? This is the movie that I have probably have seen at least fifteen times..along with the others. I am sooo ready to see the latest one!!! My niece introduces me to it. At first. I was so not into this. I keep pushing it off that "It is the typical vampire movie that I've seen a million times". One day I just decided to watch it and ......I was IN LOVE!!  Now, I know why it is soo HUGE all over the world.   

You should check this movies out if you haven't all ready. Like I said, I am a big movie buff  who likes all types of movies.. ACTION DRAMA COMEDY THRILLER SUSPENSE and of course ADVENTURE!!

From Stella MCartney to my closet...yeah right! This shealth dress is a true collector's item. It is classic yet modern....just my style. The price is a bit on the high end but this girl can only dream away.....

My Top Fav Designers

Most people who are into fashion tend to have a favorite designer. By saying this, I  DO NOT mean you must have one  in order to love fashion. Your individual style usually is inspired by someone or something.  When I was around thirteen, my mom got me a subscription to the Seventeen and Allure magazines  That's when I fell in love with this thing call Fashion. Looking through and noticing the different styles and how to put outfits together got me thinking......I can do that. Over time I developed a style ,which is classic, modern, and chic.  This post is just to give you an idea of what style you may be just by the designer you love.  MY TOP Designers (American) are Donna Karan, Calvin Kein. Michael Kors,  Tom Ford and Ralph Lauren. That's the modern and classic side of my style.  Donna  and Calvin became my go tos back in college. Their Ready to Wear collections are  clean, streamlined and classic. Just dreamy!! My International Designers are Louis Vuitton, Gucci,YSL,Stella McCartney and CHANEL. Of course!!  Sounds like a label horse huh? These designers are well known for their quality and  luxury items. You only want the best right? Well, I love them all! TOM FORD is my absolutely fav because he knows exactly how to dress a woman. Everything in his line is soo effortless chic and I just adore him. The accessories are classic but with a twist. LOOVVEEE IT!  Okay now that I shared my favorite designers...what are yours?
